Privacy policy

Effective August 6, 2026. The learning room is designed to keep progress and journal content on the customer’s own device.

1. Scope

  • This Policy explains how NovaShelf FX Academy handles information through the website, checkout fulfillment, activation, learning room and support.
  • The payment provider separately processes checkout and transaction information under its own privacy notice.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details and messages submitted to Support.
  • Checkout email, selected edition, transaction identifier, payment status and limited fulfillment data shared by the payment provider.
  • Short-lived activation challenges and a signed browser-session cookie used to verify licensed access.
  • Basic technical, diagnostic and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
  • We do not receive or store full card numbers, card security codes or online-banking credentials.

3. Learning-room data

  • Completed modules and journal entries are stored locally in the customer’s browser in the current version.
  • Local learning data is not sent to our server by the learning-room page.
  • Customers can erase it using browser storage controls. Clearing browser data may permanently delete the local record.

4. How we use information

  • To confirm purchases, deliver activation and provide the selected educational edition.
  • To respond to support, refund, access and privacy requests.
  • To protect the service, prevent fraud and enforce the license terms.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute and provider obligations.
  • We do not sell personal data or use fulfillment data for unrelated advertising without a lawful basis.

5. Legal bases

  • Performance of the educational license agreement and delivery of the purchased product.
  • Legitimate interests in security, customer support, fraud prevention and service improvement.
  • Compliance with legal obligations and consent where consent is required.

6. Providers and transfers

  • The payment provider handles checkout, tax, payment, receipts, fraud checks, refunds and chargebacks.
  • Hosting, transactional email and support providers receive only information reasonably necessary for their function.
  • Providers may process information in other countries using recognized safeguards where required.

7. Retention and security

  • Support and fulfillment records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, security, accounting, law and disputes.
  • Local learning data stays in the browser until the customer removes it.
  • We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Rights and contact

  • Depending on location, customers may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability.
  • Some tax, fraud-prevention or legal records may need to be retained.
  • Use the Contact page for privacy requests and include the email associated with the request or purchase.
